Miah: Wii U version is the 'definitive' version, Unlimited not possible without it

As we move into post-E3 coverage, we're finding more and more articles and interviews crop up. This one, over at VentureBeat, has a number of choice quotes from Jeremiah Slaczka, co-founder and lead designer for 5thCell.

"With the new object-creation feature and the possibilities it leads to, he calls Scribblenauts Unlimited for the Wii U “the definitive version of Scribblenauts."

"With the Wii U we’ve been able to make the game way bigger, because with the object creation—putting all that stuff together—the DS just can’t handle all that stuff…even the Wii couldn’t handle it, but the horse-power of this can really handle it."

“See that?” he said pointing to the screen, “That’s a giant plant tank that shoots hippies—a hovering plant tank.” Sure enough, on the screen was a giant tank made of plants floating around the screen.
“That’s what Scribblenauts is all about. It’s just absolute wackiness, like, do whatever you want, and I want it to be like that, so I’m happy to see that people are doing all kinds of crazy stuff,” he said.

Screenshots detailing Maxwell's family and more

Thanks to GameZone for posting this set of new Scribblenauts screenshots. Below you'll find some sandbox play, artwork showing off Maxwell's enormous family, and the equally big world map.

uh...I mean...did they...did they all come from the notebook or what?
No doubt a nod toward the classic Mario world maps

Here, have a bunch of E3 Scribblenauts Unlimited videos!

Videos are rolling in from E3 of people playing the game. Unfortunately many of them are really basic - you won't be finding the next God vs. Kraken here - but they give you a good idea of the scope that they're going for.

Official site opens up, lots of new screenshots

Not sure when it popped up, but the official site can now be clicked on and enjoyed. The trailer is the same as E3, but we do get some juicy new screenshots!

A wild west theme. Meets aliens. And uh, a crashed jet plane? Wild Wild West 2 confirmed

Phantom of the Opera meets Cubivore. Meets an elephant.

Yeah, ok, like the guy in the $3000 banana suit would travel on anything but a giant ape. COME ON.

Ok, I understand this is probably a Monty Python reference, but that rabbit is freaking me out

Out of everything in this shot, I'm most shocked by the rib cage to the left. What's his deal?

Coming to TLC this Fall!

I think we've all had this nightmare before, eh?
