Scribblenauts European date pushed back [Update]

[UPDATE]: Well, it would seem it's true. @baubert over on Twitter has confirmed the North American release is still the 15th, whereas Europe will be getting it in October, most likely the 8th as said in the trailer.

Bad news for Scribblers living in Europe. The latest trailer, which you can find here, has "Coming in October" at the very end.

It was initially assumed to be coming the 25th of September, just 10 days after the US release. However, this latest trailer seems to indicate Europeans might not be getting the game until a month later, if not more.

It's not exactly that surprising given localization must be tough, but it's disheartening to everyone in Europe who was expecting it the 25th.

  1. that is absolutly shit i am so hyped up for this now i have to wait another month i just think it is crap since the us is getting it on the 15th and now we need to wait. well i emailed 5th cell to make sure but i am almost sure that it will be october now :( my worst nightmare came true

Suppose I should import after all! Good thing I CANCELED my import pre-order because of that false promise of an early release date. Fun times.

  3. ...

I'm not going to complain. I never complained after still not getting Kirby Super Star Ultra released over here.
I'll just go pick that up when it's finally released and play it in the elongated run-up to Scribblenauts. *disappoint face* :|
